Fall already?

Tue Sep 29, 2009, 10:11 AM
It is seriously hard to believe it, but the leaves are starting to turn here. I had to wear a sweater when I went out to visit my grandma this morning, and had to put a hat on Jack (which he has discovered how to pull off already). We are two days away from my favorite month.

I'm looking forward to a little 'staycation' Owen and I are taking starting next Friday. Just taking some time off work to reset ourselves, maybe go out and do some hiking at Starved Rock or some other day trips with Jack. Actually get to enjoy our anniversary and have some fun on my birthday.

It's amusing that the weather turning colder has actually made me feel better than any summer day can :)

Hey there, hope you're doing alright =D

Up on the mountain, as the blizzards closed in, there was a red glow in the snow. It was there all winter, and when the spring gales blew, the rubies glittered in the sunshine.

No one remembers the singer. The song remains.
